Never AGAIN!!!! We waited in line forever, and then waited in line some more. But the kids had a good time. I think it was worth one night of waiting in line..... for only one year. I think it'd be more fun this year to do something cool in our backyard... like spaghetti noodles. Know what I'm talking about? The things at the zoo were really fun though... and I must say my favorite costume of the zookeepers were the Oompa Loompas. Ruthie loved the princesses. Asher liked the Star Wars, and there was also a Harry Potter section. I loved the barn dancing area. We had fun dancing with the kids to square dancing music. Asher was a China Man (thanks for the beautiful costume, Becky!). Ruthie was a fairy princess with LOTS of glitter, and Katie-Bug was a bunny.

Zoo Howl-o-ween Night 2010
Never AGAIN!!!! We waited in line forever, and then waited in line some more. But the kids had a good time. I think it was worth one night of waiting in line..... for only one year. I think it'd be more fun this year to do something cool in our backyard... like spaghetti noodles. Know what I'm talking about? Dentist Halloween Party 2010
The first time I heard about our dentist throwing a Halloween party, I was like, "Seriously? What will she have there? Dental floss and toothbrushes?" When I lived in The Crest in Washington, we had dentists in the neighborhood who gave that kind of stuff. At best we would come away with a sugar-free piece of candy. When I RSVP'd though, they said they'd have a live DJ, hot dogs, games, and candy. They also have a costume contest and give each child a turn in the spotlight to show off their costumes. When we arrived the first year, I was blown away. It was so much fun, that we went again. This year our children were fairy princesses and a super hero. If I recall correctly, Asher told the DJ that he was "Super Tough Guy." I made Asher's costume down to the boots and I must say that I'm quite proud of it. I love learning how to sew. I'm currently working on RuthAnne's medieval princess dress (that I was supposed to finish for 2010). It's almost a year later, and I think I'll finish it within the week. I'll post pictures once it's completed. Katie threw a fit at the end of the night... it was definitely her nap time.
Asher's 5th Birthday Party 2010
We finally did it!!! We had a party at the park for one of our children. We roasted some hot dogs and had some other snacks and the kids had fun running around at the park.... pretty low key... and nonstressful.... after the food was done! :) Thanks to all who came and made Asher's birthday celebration a special day.
Our children LOVE the mylar helium balloons. These were given to him by Grandma and Grandpa Wardle when they were in town for his birthday.
Asher's 5th Birthday 2010
Asher had a BLAST on his birthday last year. He loved his presents a lot, as you can see from all the photos. Mason captured some priceless expressions of surprise and joy from our little man. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Wardle and Poyfair for all the gifts!
