First Day of School Fall 2014

The kids were so excited to go to school.... especially Katie.  This was her first year of school in kindergarten.

Classic silly Ruthie...whenever she gets excited about something she has to stand on her soapbox.

Sillies...

RuthAnne looks like she's about to give a speech.

Yellowstone

Gorgeous, breathtaking Yellowstone.  It was lovely to see all the green grass and wildflowers and trees.  We went to Yellowstone with Mason's parents, Robin and Terry, his brother, Renny, and Renny's two daughters, Isabella and Emma.  Great times!

First, we checked out Old Faithful.  We stood around for awhile until it went off, and the kids thought it was pretty cool.

Daddy's turn to hold Ani.... :)

Hiyah!  I think one of the kiddos took this of me.

Old Faithful just getting started....

This is what we saw for the most part.... it did eventually get bigger.

An American Bison...this guy is HUGE!

You can see the stag in the middle of the picture.

Mason got some great shots of the kids hanging out outside the gift shop while I took a nap with Annabelle in the car.

My personal favorite....Sapphire Pool

Then we hiked a trail near a river lined with trees.  It was beautiful.

And how can we post anything about Yellowstone without including some pictures of the car?!!  We spent a lot of time in there!

Poor thing....stuck in that seat with limited movement.

Terry and Robin made it possible for us to stay in a luxurious cabin while visiting Yellowstone.  It was beautiful and the kids had such a blast sleeping in the loft.  We also saw a funny Gaslight Theater performance with a dinner.  We remember the main girl always tripping over the step by the door.  I remember Asher trying to spray the villain with water.... he wanted to make sure justice was served... poor actor playing the villain.  Thanks to all of Mason's family.  We had such a marvelous time and great memories.
