RA's New Hair Cut
Here are some pics we captured shortly after RuthAnne's "Really Short" hair cut she wanted so badly. I think she pulls the "Bob" off well. She absolutely loved it! Since the cut, however, she wishes it would grow faster so I could do more princess dos on her hair.
Sister Cuteness and then Some
I love it when RuthAnne and Katie are getting along so well. These pics are so cute, I had to share.... of course, I think all the pictures of my kids are cute. More is more!

Don't ask what's on her cheeks! I think it's orange marker from her trying to put on "make-up."

Temple Trip
Mason's parents came in after Christmas to spend some time with us. It was great to see them. They flew into Phoenix and we met in Mesa where we had a special trip planned. Mason and his parents went to the temple to do the temple work for Grandma and Grandpa Ricci. They also sealed Robin to her parents. I love temples and that we live so close to one to be able to go there and back in a day if we need to. I am so grateful that we can be sealed together as families, to live together forever, by the power of the priesthood (that has been restored to the earth once again) in sacred temples. I'm very much looking forward to the Tucson Temple that I hear will be built soon!

Christmas Day
Christmas Day was very special because we got to spend it with our friends. This was the first time since we've been married that we've spent Christmas Day with just us. It was a little sad, and we missed our families, but we were grateful to be able to spend time with our friends too.
We opened presents with the kids in the morning, and then had a SPECTACULAR breakfast at the Beardsley's. Melissa had cooked almost everything you could have for breakfast. It was amazing!
We relaxed for the rest of the day until that evening.
For dinner, we had our friends, Amy Greer and Evie Mordka, former neighbors, come over. It was so good to see them again and to spend time talking, eating, and playing games together.

Winterhaven
There's a neighborhood in Tucson called Winterhaven where the lights are incredible! It kind of reminds me of what it was like growing up when EVERYONE used to put up lights. It makes me sad that not as many people put up lights. At Winterhaven, they have different awards given to various homes that are fun to look at too.
Winterhaven is a fundraiser to support Tucson's Food Bank. They also have various snacks and treats available for purchase.... such as hot chocolate and popcorn. This year, we went all out and everyone got a hot chocolate. I think Mason bought us some popcorn too. Unfortunately, the hot chocolate was scalding and RuthAnne burned her tongue really bad.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening where we walked a lot and we all were exhausted by the time the evening was over. I love the pictures at the end of the kids asleep.

Mary Butler lent me her jogging stroller for a while. It came in handy on this outing. Grandma Ruth also made the "Ho Ho Ho Hat" that Mason is wearing.

It's so hard to get RA to snap out of a foul mood and pose for a picture with a smile. Poor thing... she got that from me.

Gingerbread Houses
We had a great time making gingerbread houses with our friends, the Beardsley's, last December 2012. I still need help making the right kind of frosting, but everyone still had a fun time it all tasted good too. :)
