BUSTED!

I suppose this must have happened after Halloween, because it looks like the girls got into the Halloween make-up.  I love the looks RuthAnne gives me when she's angry.  I think I told her she looked cute when she's mad, and so she looked at herself in the mirror to see what she looks like when she's angry.

Dig our CRAZY hair!!!  Mason and I were 80s rockers for Halloween this year.  We had pretend electric guitars that Aunt Debbie gave our family the last time we visited her.  We looked TOTALLY AWESOME!

CAKE

Last year I was obsessed with Cake Boss.  I loved that show!  I began researching cake decorating and spent an evening over at my friend, Carrie Campbell's, house learning how to pipe.  I still have a ways to go to learn, but I've been experimenting with making the cakes look and taste a little better than I used to.  I made this cake as a belated birthday cake for my dad when my parents and Grandma Ruth came to visit us.  We always look forward to visits from family... thanks for coming to see us!

I think this was a double-tiered french vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and vanilla custard with freshly cut strawberries in the center.  The top is decorated with raspberries and strawberries.

Disneyland

We had a fun time in Disneyland with family.  We were there for two days, and were so ready to be done by the time the two days were up.  It was exhausting!  The second day we were there, I had terrible back pain, but we made it through it.  We spent a lot of time waiting in lines together, but it was nice being surrounded by great company.  I seriously don't know what we would have done without Mason's family to help.  The extra help was very much appreciated!  Thank you everyone!
Our first ride of the day was Mater in Cars Land.

Family photo with Flick

This ride was a ride we could bring the baby on,.  It was with the caterpillar in A Bug's Life.  It sprayed different scents and sprays of water on us.  Very enjoyable.  Picture of us waiting in line...

Here, we're walking....

and walking some more.

RuthAnne and Isabella on the Ant Ride

Grandma Robin Wardle

I had to include all these images of RuthAnne's reaction to this ride.  She had the time of her life!

She's still geeking out about it!

Miguel and I are watching from the sidelines watching the baby.

Love the chunky thighs!  I think she was about 4 months old here.

The next ride in bug line

Next ride up is the ladybug bumper cars!  Lots of fun.

My favorite part was when the ladybug car filled with adults put all their hands in the air like it was a majorly intense ride.

Hilarious!

We lucked out and were able to see Mrs. Incredible before she took a break.  The kids loved her!

I think RA got sad, so Mrs. Incredible stayed with her for the pose.  AWESOME SUPER HEROS shot!

I believe this is one of every child's dreams... to have a GIGANTIC lollipop.

Mason and I.  We had a magical time alone together on the Snow White ride.

All tuckered out

Day 2 began in Mickey Land.  Isabella and Ruthie are in front, followed by Tiffany, then Asher and Emma, Katie and Miguel, and Renny.  Hard to see, I know.  I blew it up so you can see there faces below.

Isabella and Emma

We also met up with Aunt Debbie and Devin here.  I love Emma's (in the back of the stroller) expressions in this picture and the next.
Cousins

Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters!

All the lights in Cars Land at night are pretty neat to see.  Who is this car?  Wingo?  DJ?

Look who we ran into!  Asher's friend from his kindergarten class, Izzy Branson and her mom, Veronica.

Saying goodbye to Aunt 'T' and Uncle 'Guel.'
